Welcome to Latin Vibes.

I think I became an addict soon after I started dancing in 2009, it can happen to all walks of life and all ages. Whether you a kid or adult, student or a doctor, it can happen to you too.
Always hungry to learn more we have created Latin Vibes, first to teach each other and keep practising and now to teach others and create an environment for the Latin Dance Family on the beautiful island of Grenada

We are always happy when the family grows, so feel free to join us and be part of the Latin Dance Way of Life

About Us

Learn to Dance.

Latin dances hail from several different countries in South and Central America, and most have influences that range far beyond this region. Some dances are easier to learn than others, but all Latin dances have a flair that both spectators and dancers alike adore.
The latin dances are social dances and when you go to a latin party, you won’t find rough bumping and grinding and you won’t feel like you are walking into a meat market, but you feel like part of the Big Latin Family

Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York City with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Colombia. The movements of salsa have origins in Cuban Son, Cha-cha-cha, Mambo and other dance forms, and the dance, along with the salsa music, originated in the mid-1970s in New York.
Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance originating in Angola. It is a derivative of traditional Angolan semba. After 1986, it has strongly been influenced by French Caribbean Compas. Actually, there is some confusion: Kizomba is a distinct Angolan style. After 1986, Kizomba music became very close to zouk, which is actually the French Antilles Compas promoted as zouk by Kassav and several French Antilles artists. Unlike semba, kizomba music is characterized by a slower and usually very romantic rhythm.
Bachata is a dance from the Dominican Republic. Both the music and the dance have been influenced by Cuban Bolero, the Merengue (also of Dominican Republic origin), Salsa and Cumbia.
Rueda de Casino (Rueda, Salsa Rueda, Salsa Rueda de Casino) is a particular type of Salsa round dance. Some people incorrectly call it “Casino Rueda” and “Cuban Salsa.”
Pairs of dancers form a circle, with dance moves called out by one person, a caller.
Other latin dances include: Merengue, Cha Cha, Rumba, Argentine Tango, Zouk, Latin Hustle and more

"Practise makes perfect"… this goes for dancing too. To become a good dancer it is important to practise as much as possible, in the group, at home and at social events.
We are providing support to practise at home or on the go with these helpful video courses.
